Rose of Jericho plant
Despite its name, Rose of Jericho is not a rose at all. It is a small green plant, usually sold in a dried, compact ball. When it is soaked in water, it opens up its feathery, fern-like leaves and becomes green again. If it dries out, it goes back to its dry state.
It has the ability to consistently come back to life and is what gives the Rose of Jericho its powerful spiritual and magical properties. In spiritual practices it’s believed to have the power to bring peace, prosperity, and abundance to a home or business. The water of the plant can be used as a type of Holy Water to bless a space, sprinkled or sprayed about to eliminate negativity. Sizes range from 2-5 inches
To use this beautiful plant: Lay it in a dish of water, covering its roots. Allow it to sit in the water (for no longer than seven days, as it can rot after too much time in water). Once you place it in water, the Resurrection flower opens beautifully like a fern. However, it's not a fern but a moss. Place the bowl near your front door or an entrance to your home to invite prosperity into your life. You can also place coins into the water to magnify the ritual. The curling and uncurling is reversible and can be done by the flower numerous times.
Some families pass their rose down from generation to generation.
