About Our Soy Candles🌿 100% Soy WaxDid you know a candle can be labeled as a “soy candle” even when it contains other types of wax? Not here!
Our candles are made with 100% soy wax! We don't blend our wax with other waxes or add fillers such as paraffin or Crisco.
We use premium phthalate-free fragrances and lead-free wicks to create a high quality candle that smells amazing and looks beautiful in any home.
A Note About Color & AppearanceOur candles are intentionally uncolored so they can fit beautifully into any décor.
Because fragrance oils can naturally affect the appearance of soy wax, you may notice that some candles are bright white while others have a slightly creamy or ivory tint. This is completely normal.
Direct sunlight can also cause soy wax to yellow or change color where the sunlight hits. This does not affect the fragrance, performance, or burn of your candle.
You may also notice areas of shading or a slightly mottled appearance on the inside of your jar. This is commonly called “wet spots.” It occurs when soy wax pulls slightly away from the glass as temperatures fluctuate.
Wet spots are a cosmetic characteristic of soy wax and do not affect the performance of your candle. Some candle makers use additives to minimize this effect, but we choose to keep our candles 100% soy.
What Does the Candle Size Mean?The size listed for each candle refers to the jar/container size. The actual wax weight will be slightly less than the stated container size.
Candle Care Tips 🕯️A little candle care goes a long way toward getting the best burn and scent experience from your candle.
✂️ Keep Your Wick TrimmedAlways trim your wick to approximately ¼ inch before each burn.
A wick that is too long can cause a high flame, mushrooming, excess soot, and a hotter than intended burn.
🔥 Give Your Candle a Good First BurnOn the first burn, allow the melted wax to reach close to the edges of the container. This helps establish an even melt pattern and helps prevent tunneling.
For best results, don't extinguish the candle too quickly during its first burn.
🔥 Weak Flame?If your flame becomes very small or struggles to stay lit, the wick may have been trimmed too short or may be surrounded by excess wax.
Extinguish the candle and allow it to cool completely before making any adjustments. If necessary, carefully remove a small amount of excess wax around the wick before relighting.
🔥 High Flame?A high flame can be caused by a wick that needs trimming or by a draft.
Extinguish the candle, allow it to cool, and trim the wick to approximately ¼ inch. Keep candles away from fans, vents, open windows, and other drafts.
🖤 SootNo candle is completely soot free. Proper wick trimming and keeping your candle away from drafts will help minimize soot and blackening on the jar.
⏰ Burn TimeFor container candles, do not burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Always allow your candle to cool completely before relighting. Excessive heat can cause the container to become dangerously hot and may result in glass damage or hot wax leaking from the container.
Your candle container will become HOT. HANDLE WITH CARE.
What Size Candle Is Right for My Room?This can vary depending on the fragrance, room size, ceiling height, and whether the space is open or enclosed.
As a general guideline:
8 oz candles are great for bathrooms, bedrooms, offices, and smaller living spaces.
For open-concept rooms, larger spaces, or rooms with high ceilings, you may prefer a larger candle or multiple candles.
And don't be afraid to scent mingle! Burning two complementary fragrances together can create a completely new scent experience.
One of my personal favorites is Dark Plum + Lemon Curd — a soothing combination with a little burst of fruit. 🌿🍍
Keep in mind that fragrance strength varies. Some scents are naturally lighter, while others have a much stronger presence. I personally test all of our fragrances before offering them, and I'll do my best to note lighter scents in their product descriptions.
Please Burn ResponsiblyCandles are beautiful, but an open flame should always be treated with care.
Don't want to waste the remaining wax? Allow the candle to cool completely, then remove the remaining wax and use it in a wax warmer.
A simple trick is to place the cooled jar in the freezer for approximately 10–15 minutes. The remaining wax should loosen and can often be popped out of the container.
Wax Melts & Tea LightsWax melts and tea lights should always be used in an appropriate wax warmer designed for that product.
